![]() If after playing those older DS games on their mobile devices they actually decide they want all the latest Nintendo games too they would still have to go out and buy one of Nintendo's own consoles to get them, which might happen more often than you would think if those experiences are strong enough and we know with Nintendo games they usually are (certainly, most of Nintendo's best DS games poo all over 99% of current mobile games), and that can only be a good thing for Nintendo. If the games are old enough, meaning they've already sold bucket loads on the DS anyway, then I really don't see the harm in this and especially if it's games that are ideally suited to touch devices because all this does imo is show all those casual mobile gamers out there how great Nintendo's games actually are. Whether you agree with the idea of Nintendo putting it's games on platforms other than it's own first party hardware or not, I think this is a perfect example of where Nintendo is missing a trick.Ĭertain Nintendo games and franchises just seem so suited to the likes of smartphones and tablets, most of Nintendo's touchscreen DS games for example, that if I were running Nintendo I'd at least be putting a bunch of the older DS touch-centric games on mobile devices at this point (especially in these tough times). You cannot recover planted fruit seeds after watering.Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon and The Sims are all inspirations for Castaway Paradise. If you accidentally plant a flower, you can recover the seed even after watering if you dig it up before it sprouts (before you click the checkmark).Garbage will wash up on the beaches once a day, but you might have to wait multiple days to gather the number you need.** Store trash - they give hardly any gems and are required for some quests.Quests that ask you to catch a specific item can sometimes be completed if you already have it in your inventory/storage, but not always.Store some cheaper bugs & fish for quota quests (ex.Store one of each bug, fish & shell until you've built Harold's Museum.For example, when fishing, move & drop the hook right on top of the fish instead of waiting for it to swim towards the bobber. You can manually move tool indicators.Fruits have different resell values, plant accordingly. Between rewards and pre-existing trees, you can acquire the following fruits for free: Apple, Orange, Banana, Juniper, Acai Berry, Beechnut, Peach & Cherry.Chili Peppers are the most profitable crop relative to time.And yes, there is a quest for upgrading your tent too. Houses are cosmetic, so if you wait for a quest you'll get EXP, gems & puzzle pieces. Don't do anything for free - esp rebuilding houses.You don't need fish food unless you're trying to catch a specific fish. ![]() For example, fence quests using the fences around Town Hall. You can sometimes complete quests using pre-existing items.Keep this in mind when investing in tool upgrades. Refill timers & capacity are redundant after lvl 15.Don't forget store prices drop 20% with VIP status at lvl 15.You can harvest crops at any point (good to fill harvest-only quests), but the more fully-evolved a crop is the more EXP & gems it will yield.Both crops are cheap and have short timers. Corn is the best crop for EXP grinding before lvl 15/VIP switch to Tomatoes after you hit VIP and get unlimited watering cans.If you harvest & water just before levelling up, you can get a double harvest. Levelling up also completes crop & tree timers.Levelling up refills all your tools' stamina.Some of these tips are obvious, but included for new/inexperienced players. If you don't want to spend gems, dig an empty hole there instead, but you'll have to walk around it. Adding onto OP's tip: If you can, plant flowers under the fruit drop because you can walk right through flowers.
